You should know that I have not always enjoyed prayer. It was mundane, boring and I would get this gut feeling "not again." Yes, I just didn't want to do it. I prayed only when I had to and it was because I couldn't figure it out on my own. One day, after years of struggling with pouring spring water from one container to the next, I haphazardly grabbed a funnel from the cabinet. Man, Oh Man! God ministered to me about prayer and how specific, intentional and directional it should be. And, if we get the AIM right, we can eliminate WASTAGE.
How Pleading the Blood Can Be Your Secret Weapon In Prayer.
The Blood of Jesus is mentioned many times throughout scripture. When Jesus died and rose again, the Old Covenant was fulfilled. Death and sin were defeated. Again, the phrase “Pleading the Blood of Jesus” is not seen in scripture but is used in many Christian circles today.
Pleading means to make a heartfelt appeal to someone or something. Many people see this verse and desire to "plead the blood" over the devil's hold in their life. They are crying out for protection with authority under the Blood of Jesus amidst their spiritual warfare. For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. 2 Corinthians 10:3-4.

The Prayer Funnel
God has given us a template or a pattern we should use when we go to Him in prayer. Our prayers may start [wide at the top]. But should become [narrow at the bottom]. Being specific in prayer helps us to [guide] our thoughts into a [small opening] to eliminate wastage.
Strategies in Prayer
For years I thought prayer was just one more religious activity to add to my checklist. Or, something you could do if you wanted to or not... My heart was to please my Father… Strategy One: Involve God in your life every day and after a while, you will find that you are talking to Him most of the day! Yes, it's going to take a lot practice.
Prayers That Win
God asked the The Blind Men [Matthew 20: 29-39] "What do you want me to do for you?" He's asking us the same question today. If we don't tell Him, we'll never get the petitions we desire of Him. Prayer don't win but specific prayers do.

Prayer funnels have been designed for specific tasks. The longer funnel is simply going to take some time to get the evidence that you are looking for. However, many of us operate daily using the short funnel because we want our prayers to be quickly answered. And the process doesn't require a lot of work on our end.
Nonetheless, each funnel's purpose should be specific, directional and guided to get the best results you are seeking from God. When our prayers can NOT answer the question "What do you want me to do for you?" You'll lack clarity and will not get the results you have petitioned God for.
Your Purpose Is What Again?
If you never inquire, you'll never know. If you never take the risk or leap, you'll never do the will of God for your life.
Question: When's the last time you did something before you were ready? Was it last week? Last month? Last year?
Or, maybe, you've never leaped before because you're just too afraid of where you'll land. Down!👇🏾 Well! That happens too.

Well! Let me share with you, I'm a risk-taker... better yet. I'm a leaper. 🤪 Yes! leaping before ready is my life. I know God's purpose for me.
So, I've always been like that. I hear a message from God; I see the vision and I know what it means to get it done. It's something about that inner knowing. I don't wait or hesitate. I have to go get it!
Now! It's your turn to go get it. Yes! you're going to land in unfamiliar territory but you will eventually figure out how it all works.
But you have to leap...JUMP FIRST!
No! I haven't always got it right. I've missed the ledge altogether and totally failed on my face. 🤦🏽♀️
Yet! My purpose made me get right back up again. because what I know is that jumping was the most important part. It was necessary for me to fail; it was a part of my learning process. I learned a lot each time I didn't give up.
The difference between those who "succeed" (whatever that means to you) and those who "fail," is that the ones who succeed just keep going. They kept jumping.
The ones who didn't... didn't. They stopped jumping because they were afraid of failure. You can't fail. It's purpose!
